Reflection:
Some major problems/frustrations that I have experienced in my work is that I would set a date for when I wanted to have something completed and then not achieving it. In cases like this it was clear to me that it were faults of my own that led me to not being able to complete the tasks on time. The way I bounced back from this though was just communicating with my Development Director that I would need a little more time to finish and it was typically okay with her. Communication is key when it comes to situations like this and that's something I found to be very important.

Post #8 Date: 8 /30/16 Activities: Grant Video Technical Information: Internet and iMovie Reflection: While working here i’ve learned that I thrive best in an environment where creative ideas are accepted. Whenever I had an idea and shared it with the interns or the development director I never felt as if my ideas were being disregarded. This kept my creativity going and because of this I was able to produce great work. This showed me that I want to have a career where I'm free to execute my creative visions. I don't want to ever feel like I'm limited to doing someone else says. I want to make things my own.

Post #2 Date: 6/30/16 Activities: Work on Intranet Technical Information: Internet Reflection: The work atmosphere is comfortable and cooperative. It’s a medium size office area where the adults who actually work here have their own cubicles. You can hear pretty much all conversations unless it is said in a whisper tone. The walls are painted yellow with portraits of musicals and plays that have taken place here hanging up. I sit at a table with other interns and we all have our own specific jobs to work on. I enjoy this because if I need any help I know I can ask them and they will help me out. Also, it makes me want to work harder because I’m around others who are doing what it takes to succeed. The dress code is business casual. Some days I will wear and dress and other days I will wear jeans but with a nice dress top. I always aim to dress nicely though.
